What is Christian Counseling? How does it work?

Goal-based Christian Counseling uses the foundation of God's love for His creation.  Goal-based brief therapy is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy. Through goal-based Christian counseling, the client and therapist will work as a team to assess thoughts, beliefs, needs, desires and to set goals in order to tackle the current challenge or storm, OR to enhance and promote strengths (God-given gifts).  A person's soul requires nurturing and  direction, and at Soul Care Solution each client is viewed as a precious individual with unique characteristics and untapped areas of strength.  With the therapist as a guide, clients can begin to discover how these newly acquired skills can be applied to conquer future challenges, enabling a brighter future.
